Furniture Specialist-Raleigh, NC | Staples, Inc. | Raleigh, NC

Primary Responsibilities
  • Achieve revenue and margin goals
  • Partner with Staples Contract Division sales team to sell furniture
  • Build selling and customer service relationships with clients that can profitably grow Staples furniture category sales
  • Utilize Staples Salesforce.com system on a consistent daily basis to self-manage selling activity, contacts, deals, strategies, reporting, and communications
  • Work collaboratively with furniture operations partners to assure accurate, timely, and professional delivery of customer's products and services
  • The ideal candidate should have the ability to develop furniture plans using GIZA

Basic:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 - 5 years related work experience
  • Professionally skilled, disciplined, and organized sales and account management professional with documented success selling to mid to large size businesses
  • Impressive ability to develop, service, and manage a portfolio of large volume small to mid-sized orders
  • Dynamic individual who can function at a high level of performance, work in a very fast paced environment, and collaborate with customers, sales management, sales and support staff
  • Successful experience selling, implementing and managing business programs to customers at the administrative, management, and senior management levels
  • Must be effective as a product category specialist, working as part of a wider client services team

Preferred:
  • 3-5 years prior related work experience preferred
  • Experience with GIZA or AutoCAD and an extensive background in contract furniture
